Classic and Abstractionism
Russian Federation
Interior design is an essential part of a home as it defines its appearance and sets the mood. In this project, the combination of modern classics with unusual elements creates a special atmosphere. The house has three floors, with the main area—living room, dining room, and a large kitchen—located on the first floor. The second floor houses three bedrooms with separate bathrooms and walk-in closets, while the third floor features an additional living area, including a game room, a second living room, and a guest bedroom. This layout creates a distinct relaxation area.
The kitchen is the most complex space in the house. Firstly, its space is inherently large, divided into different zones—a functional island, a breakfast and family dining area, and a large table area in the living room. Secondly, the interior of the kitchen incorporates a variety of materials and textures, resulting in a decorative and harmonious space.
The project features a lot of color and different textures, including marble, ceramic granite, mirrors, wallpaper, plenty of plaster, and mosaic. It also includes unusual solutions such as a green ceiling in one of the bedrooms and a red one in another. The interior is defined by the paintings of the Rostov artist Irina Andryushenko, whose graphics resonate with the project's materials, the color scheme of textiles, and the furniture.
The house was created without the involvement of clients, as it was initially prepared for sale. The task was to create functionality with a specific set of rooms. The spaces are conceptually linked, making the house look cohesive. Buyers were found almost immediately and were pleasantly surprised that the house met their needs and desires, despite the project being executed without their consent. With its rich variety of materials, the interior of the house has turned out to be multifaceted and complex.
